It accomodates a larger person. The brake controls on the top of the chair (where you push it) are so great--easy to let someone get in or out. The lower arm positions in front of the padded arm rests make it easy to push up out of the chair. It is attractive and came assembled except for attaching the foot rests. The price was excellent.

I couldn't be happier with the scooter. I go everywhere on it. In fact, shortly after I got it, I let a friend borrow my car for a day, and that was two weeks ago, and haven't missed by car once. I use it to travel the 3 miles to the store, do my shopping, and come home. The battery seems to last forever. When it came out of the box, I was a bit intimidated. Because of my diabedis, my eyes have problems with small print, and it seemed to be in a thousand pieces. But, I didn't have to look at the directions once. It snapped together easily and logically. The battery came with a full charge, so I was zipping around the neighborhood in minutes. There may be better scooters on the market, but I doubt you'll find one just as good or better for this price.

I was using a Jay contoured eeat with fluid gel in the rear. That is a very good pad but I was still experiencing periods of pain in my glutes from sitting. The Roho pad has almost completely relieved this problem due to the superior pressure distribution. I also think the contoured shape contributes to stability and comfort.
