Now that you have a mobility device, you probably want to take it with you!  To choose the perfect lift, you will need to match your Scooter or Power Chair to your vehicle, your budget and your desired level of convenience.

 Consider the following options:

• A Manual Outside Carrier Lift is the lowest priced option, but requires you to lift about 40 pounds to load and fold up the lift. You’ll have to secure your scooter to the carrier with straps.

• A Powered Outside Carrier Lift mounts into the trailer hitch on the back of your vehicle, and raises, lowers and folds up using a key switch. These lifts are a great mid-priced option, and require very little effort on your part to load and unload.

• An Inside Carrier Lift is powered and require hardly any effort on your part. They tend to be higher in price than outside models, and are appropriate for larger vehicles like minivans and SUVs.
