Overview
The SPOX Sport is an excellent all-purpose wheel with great durability and strength. The wheel is Spinergy’s entry-level sport making it the most affordable option without sacrificing style and performance. The SPOX Sport is a quick accelerating lightweight wheel so it is ideal for minimal or no contact sports.
What Makes This Different
A high flange hub that is CAD designed and made from a machined lightweight aluminum is what gives the SPOX Sport its strength. The hub is available in either black or silver. Spinergy's patented PBO Power provides the other half of the key for this model. The spokes are encased in a chemical resistant, water/UV proof composite containing over 30,000 strands of polyphenylene bensobisoxazole fiber. The unique spoke delivers 3-times the strength of stainless steel at just half the weight resulting in less rotational weight and a faster responding wheel. PBO Power spokes are incredibly strong and will absorb impact more efficiently while staying in true.
Why We Like It
The SPOX Sport like the SPOX is an original with long histories for great performance and durability. The Sport model is great for those getting their start in sports. Though a great a wheel for beginners the SPOX Sport will still easily handle impacts and provide a fast wheel that is a huge upgrade over the standard wheel provided on court chairs.
