Overview
Our Process
The Elevated Modular Ramps are custom measured to your raised landing inside or outside your home. Step one, purchase a professional measuring visit. We will send a technician out to your home to take measurements. This measurement determines what the slope of the ramp will be. An ADA-compliant ramp must have a flat landing at both the top and bottom of each run. Along with ADA requirements in the U.S. a modular ramp should have at lease 12" of length for every 1" of rise. Platforms are sometimes optional and sometimes required. Depending on the terrain, the feet may need foundation supports, such as a paver, to level your ramp. When a ramp must change directions, either to avoid an obstacle or to make sure the ramp fits within certain space restrictions, a flat platform must be used to facilitate the turn. This is why we recommend the professional measurement visit.
The modular ramps are portable and can be stored or transported and setup in different locations. Non-corrosive aluminum construction ensures your ramp will last for years to come.
After Your Measurement Visit What To Know When Ordering
Per ADA requirements in the U.S. a modular ramp should have at least be 12" of length for every 1" of rise. The rise refers to the distance between the bottom to the top of the stairs or ledge needing to be ramped. This measurement determines what the slope of the ramp will be.
Platforms are sometimes optional and sometimes required. When selecting a ramp with platform, we recommend a 4' x 4' platform for manual mobility equipment, and a 5' x 5' platform for powered mobility equipment.
Platforms are sometimes optional and sometimes required.
