The Med-Aire Plus 10” Bariatric Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement System by Drive Medical is ideal for the treatment and management of pressure ulcers and pressure prevention on the body. This system is packed with many features and easy-to-use controls that ensure the user remains comfortable while in the system while also helping to prevent pressure ulcers or skin breakdown. The cell-on-cell construction of this system allows the pressure to distribute without “bottoming-out” the patient during use.

The Med-Aire Plus 10” Bariatric Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement System features an Auto-Firm mode, which fully inflates the bladders of the system to aid in transferring in and out of the bed. All 20 of the 10-inch-deep bladders are easily removed and replaced in the event of a puncture. The system also has a Head Pillow mode, which keeps the three cells by the head inflated during static mode, while the Seat Inflate mode ensures the user stays comfortable while the top part of the bed is raised for long periods of time.
In the event of a power outage, the Med-Aire Plus 10” Bariatric Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement System stays inflated for up to 24 hours, ensuring the user stays comfortable and supported. Three diagnostic alarms alert you when there is a problem with the mattress or the pump, while the CPR valve allows for quick deflation in the event of an emergency. The Med-Aire Plus 10” Bariatric Alternating Pressure Mattress Replacement System comes with a 4-way stretch cover, which is low sheer, fluid-proof, vapor permeable, quilted and zippered, adding to the overall quality and design of the system.
