When I sat in it I could fell the suport it gave me. For once my back stopped hurting. The cushion didn't move around when I got into my chair from my bed. unlike my old one.
When I ordered it I ordered it backword, I ordered the length and the depth and vis versa. Sence the cushion was so thick I couldn't transfer from the toilet back into my chair. so i had to use my old cushion.

FOR HUSBAND WHO IS PARALYZE/ GOOD FOR HIM
Prevents pressure sores.
Helps with posture and prevention of pressure sores. Helps one sit comfortably for hours at a time.
Cushion can and does come apart at times and creates an awful mess. Cushions are too expensive to have to replace as often as she has to. She takes excellent care of cushion and it still splits. ALSO, the cushion bottoms out badly. Cushion supplements have to be used, and they, too, are expensive.

My sister, Jacquelyn, uses this cushion. As a result of polio in 1949 she has been confined to a wheelchair.

only choice I have, so I guess product is good
no pressure sores
I can not slide easily to transfer, but that just means "incapatability" for a particular user

age 77; polio onset 1948; current post-polio syndrome extreme weakness; transfer difficult
This is the best cushion I have found , and I am going to...
The Jay 2 cushion will prevent the formation of sores and skin break down. It is also very comfortable.
The only weakness is that it did not conform to my scooter seat which is contoured. I had to have a new seating system put on that would fit the flat surface of the cushion. The 18" x 18" size fit perfectly.

I am a 68 year old female who had polio in 1959. I cannot walk at all, so having a comfortable cushion to sit on is very important to me.
It is very comfortable.
The best feature for me is that it is only 2 1/2 inches high. The gel seat is very comfortable.
I really don't think this product has any weaknesses. It works very well for me and when the time comes I would purchase it again.
