56 years old. Spina bifida.
Has releaved the pressure. Things are improving.
Spreads the pressure and therefore releaves the pressure point. Still provides stability.
The cushion is six pounds. A little on the heavy side.

Mother is 95 and in a wheelchair most of the time. Great cushion for not getting ulcers and comfortable. She says "I feel secure sitting on this one."
That should be N/A on recommendation. The use of a custom...
Easily cleaned. Gel squishes into the right place for support.
The gel is not enough under the thighs to give adduction support. We really didn't want to have a large hump in the middle of the foam base, but having more gel under the thigh area would give enough control and comfort.

it is a sturdy item
Not provided
The downside of this product is that the gel part does bust. Therefore the entire cushion must be replaced.

This product enables me to function sitting a greater number of hours than the cushion I had before. It is comfortable and the right size for me.
Every few years the J2 cushion needs o be replaced, because the gel gets less resilient.

I am a 69 year old polio survivor having been disabled since 1959. I need the J2 cushion when I am sitting in my motorized scooter. I cannot stand.
No more pressure sores. Excelent quality.
After almost dying some years ago due to complications of a pressure ulcer, J2 has made all the difference… no more sores. It also helps a lot with posture and it stays like new forever, at least for light weighted users (90 pounds).
Price. At least for me, being a Mexican who earns Pesos, this cushion is a bit expensive. It helps looking at it not as an expense but as an investment...

I have sat on a Jay 2 since 1995 and thanks to the cushion I have maintained skin integrity: with zero skin breakdown.

I have had an incomplete T-6 SCi since 1995 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Good for anyone who transfer themselves.
The cushion is easy to transfer on and off. I had the gel overfilled because my butt is very bony. Since using this cushion, I have had no pressure sores.
The gel seperates and I have to keep re-adjusting the gel.
