Makes moving a person easy. Since this product is electrically powered, you do not need a lot of strength to move the patient.

The battery does not have a long life. The free vest that comes with it is not well made and is already ripping at the seams.

If anything, it would be the pedal that spreads the legs: it is a little hard for my wife with weight in it, but she still handles it ok.

The caregiver tells me that she is better able to transfer my sister from bed to wheelchair and back, and that the effort is less tiring for both of them than with a manual lift that was formerly used.

I have not been advised by the caregiver of any weaknesses in the product.

Brother-in-law has progressive MS and he is paralyzed from the waist down and partially paralyzed from the waist up.

I got the Genesis 400 Electric Power Lift. It was delivered in a few days. It was easy to assemble, but needed an extra pair of hands. It is fairly compact for this sort of lift and rolls easily on carpet. Having a 5" clearance, it rolls easily under bed during use and for ease of storing out of the way. Will lift patient off the floor, eliminating need to call 911 for help.
