Age 70, suffers from Parkinson's Disease, mobility impaired trouble getting up and down
At last a failsafe mechanism to go from floor to chair.
I have seven different methods for getting from the floor to my wheelchair, but sometimes fatigue or weakness defeats them all. For several years, I looked for a power alternative. Finally, I found my answer. I don't use it in the shower; I can use it to get from floor to chair, even when I am at my lowest.
Once the backrest is in place, a locking mechanism would be nice, as would a clip to secure the two halves for transport. Assembly was super easy, though the instructions made it seem needlessly confusing, being as unclear as they were with undefined terminology.

danny r. from odenton, md (caregiver)
age 73, wheelchair depended, with a crushed lower spin from a car accident which made getting in and out of the tub impossible.
this significantly improved quality of life for user
great quality; operates easily; well designed; would definitely recommend. it is a much better alternative to spending $6,000 on a "walk in tub" and with a lot less bother as NO construction is involved.
battery power unit was defective and was replaced without a hassle but only after long series of calls with supplier. the unit comes with a white padded seat and backrest cover. i can see no need for the optional cushion. unit difficult to extract from bath because of suction cups on bottom. there are 4 cups and i only have 2 hands.

Is a good item for a limited ability person.
The basic unit does exactly what it has been advertised to do with ease.
Because it must set so forward in the tub, it leaves little room to extend my legs.

Money well spent.
We have used the lift for a short time but if it continues to perform as it has I will be happy.

My wife has a hard time getting up and down in the tub due to her right side being weaker and poor balance due to brain trauma.
GOOD PRODUCT
ABLE TO LIFT 250+ POUNDS
1. COULD US A SIMPLE CLIP TO HOLD THE LOWER AND UPPER HALF TOGETHER FOR TRANSPORT. 2. A SLIGHTLY LARGER POWER SUPPLY. OURS SHUTS DOWN FOR A WHILE CAUSING CONCERN IF IT WILL START BACK UP. TO MY HANDICAP WIFE THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN.

Safe for the user. Unit's operation is easy and simplistic.
My own experience (my first use today)was that the cleansing of my mom's posterior presented a problem since her mobility is limited.
