It is a lifesaver. My 90 y/o mother fell while trying to get out of her bed. We might have been injured had I tried to lift her. I quickly thought of the lift chair in her bath and was able to use it in her bedroom to raise her to a seated position.

I was at first dubious about the plastic construction. A positive is that the lift is lightweight and easily moved and stored when not in use.

The lift takes up room in the tub, not leaving alot of room for long legs.

Due to a shoulder issue I have not been able to get in and out of a bath tub and have been restricted to showers for years. I love a good warm bath.

Easy to put together and easy to use.

Plastic gears wear out eventually and could not get that small replacement part. Had to purchase a new unit when that part could have easily been replaced.

The suction cups are very aggressive lending the chair great stability

We are using it in a Jacuzzi style tub so the wings off the seat are nonfunctional. It would be nice to see some option for that application. Also, the chair was supposed to come with a slide-and-rotate add-on. It did not arrive with that included.

My wife has mobility and balance issues.

I do not like the movement from side to side. I was afraid I would tip over, however it is what we needed and is wonderful to have.
