My mother is 90 years old and has severe arthritis in her knees and spine. She was unable to get up from her previous recliner.

TRY IT AND YOU WILL BE CONVINCED, TOO!
The ease of assembly, the convenience of easing into and out of a chair when your muscles and bones are less than cooperative.
The chair makes some squeaking noises when returning to the "upright" position.

I bought the chair because I have Degenerative Disc Disease, and I underwent surgery on the 18th of May.
Great chair. It has been a huge help.

My mother just turned 89 years old. She has very severe arthritis everywhere. Getting up and out of a chair is almost impossible.
The chair is a great product! Your timeliness in delivery...
The chair is very comfortable for my dad. The seat lift is excellent and gets him to an almost-standing position. The reclining positions let him stretch out and rest.
I wish it came in leather.

An 89-year-old male with degenerative joint disease, chronic heart failure, dementia, etc.
Overall love the chair, the cushion is really hard.
I ordered the petite size for my smaller framed mother and it is 'just right', as well as it was easy to operate.
The seat cushion is hard as a rock (not good for elderly w/o any personal cushion of their own), and if you add a cusion, it negates the reason for the petite size chair. Delivery was great, but did not fit thru the door (had to cut the packaging to get it in the main doorway of the apartment (Sr Living) building, so thank goodness it did not need to be returned! (Original packaging requirement)

83 with COPD and limited mobility due to lack of oxygen and weakness.
Nice chair, but not for everyone.
Firm frame, nice fabric, ease of use.
Reclining feature does not allow for sitting up straight with feet up.
