More comfortable for user and easier for caregivers.
It is a net fabric with lots of strong bindings and belt loops.
Don't know how long the net fabric lasts before strethcing. So far, so good.

My 90 year old wife
A great upgrade from the previous sling
After a few times in the washing machine, this sling softens up nicely. After only a few uses, learning how to use the sling was simple. This this sling is also very forgiving if you don't quite get it centered, the transfer goes very smoothly.
1. Very stiff out of the package, highly suggest running it through the washing machine several times before using. 2. The back of the sling (I bought a medium for someone who weighs 140 lb) is a little long. It tends to catch on the handles of the wheels chair when removing the patient, which can be a little dicey.

Patient has Parkinson's Disease with dementia, osteoarthritis
This also fits over an elongated toilet as a 3 in 1!
We have a narrow shower opening and an odd angled shower stall. This shower chair pivots around very nicely in these tight quarters. Patient and caregivers love it!

72 y/o male, 165-175 lbs with "mostly useless" left leg and has great difficulty standing.
Cutout is IMPERFECTLY seamed, created great irritation on...
Durable, easy to use, recommend if you do not have buttock/thigh skin sensitivity
Commode cut out seaming "imperfect," overlaps, will not completely fold under or over, creating material roughness and irritation of buttocks and thighs ... very aggrevating for those with bed sore potential.

Age 82, disabled, wheelchair confined, dependent upon sling for transferring, toileting, and bathing
Safe and durable -- gets the job done.
Mesh allows shower water to pass through. Washable. For males, I recommend placing a satin pillow case folded in 1/2 or 1/4 over cut out until lowered onto commode shower chair at which time the pillowcase can be pulled through. Helps avoid painful contact with genitals during positioning.
