Definitely needed--good price, works great
Provides nice cushion for the rider--fits into the seat well and hooks on with the velcro. Decent ergonomic molding.
When you fold the wheelchair, the cushion has to be removed, or tucked in to the side of the folded seat. I think that is a problem inherent to all wheelchair cushions.

Very sturdy, good support and so far, has not caved in, like so many other pillows do.
cannot say I have found any weaknesses yet. Time and use may change my opinion

It makes sitting in a wheelchair all day comfortable.
The cushion has no perceptable weaknesses but I worry about washing the cover with anything else because the color might run.
