Hand Brakes. No Instructions. I thought you could "set" the brakes by using the hand brakes and that is why I ordered this particular model; so I was disappointed to find that you could not.

Even though I have to get used to not pushing myself, this...
Slightly higher, more comfortable seat back, Hand brakes, Larger rear wheels, Folds easily, Swing-away removable footrests, Well placed heel loops on the footrests, Color is subdued burgundy, not bright red as I feared, The chair seems sturdy and well made, Lofetime limited warranty, Narrow for doorways Lightest weight transport chair I could find
Not offered with a black or silver frame - only red & blue.

i like it, but the footrests are kind of a pain to adjust
overall ease of use, lightweigt, we used it for air travel, and it could not have been easier to maneuver around the airport, and was so easy to fold up
as stated before, the footrest seems to be not of the same quality as the rest of the chair

light, easy to use
the brake on the left side wheel cannot be tightened--it does not hold the brake; the right side is ok. This is our second purchase of this type of transport chair and the weakness is the same

The strengths of this product are the handle brakes and the weight.
I don't care for the seat belts because my husband doesn't need them at this time and they just get in the way. There's no place to put them so they just hang down. That's a minor problem though.

User is 71 years old who had a massive stroke and is paralyzed on the right side. He can not walk yet or even stand on his own.
Excellent quality for transport.
We appreciate the light weight considering the quality and strength of the chair. The large rear wheels make it quite manuverable and the brakes are very important. Its compact design makes it easy to store or transport.

Handle brakes, ease of folding, light weight.
Brake lines from handles require rerouting to operate properly. Often need replacing. Besides being too short, brake lines were routed over the foot assist pedals in the back of the unit caking it difficult to raise front when clearing objects such as curbs.
