The stand up lift will do the work for the patient.
Reviewer: B. from ELKO, NV (caregiver)

End User Desc: This product is for my father who is unable to walk and has really weak legs that challenges his capabilty to stand by himself.

Strengths: The stand up lift is compacted and easy to use.

Weaknesses: The sling slips slowly and doesn't support consistenly. The price for the product is higher than average, the patient has not a specific area where he can grab to feel secure.

Transfers from wheelchair to bed are much safer both for father and his caregiver.
Reviewer: G. from Troy, OH (caregiver)

End User Desc: My 88 yr. old father who is wheelchair-bound from a stroke since 2003.

Strengths: Easy to use and the transport sling works well for us.

Weaknesses: The standing sling doesn't stay in place at the waist no matter how tightly it's pulled in. (It rides up his trunk to his underarms and is uncomfortable.)

Reviewer: B. from Bunham, TX (caregiver)

End User Desc: My 84 yr. old mom had a stroke and has difficulty transferring from bed to toilet to wheelchair.

Strengths: Easy to use

Weaknesses: The foot plate does not fit between the front wheels of an electric wheelchair. Therefore, it is not possible to roll the lift close enough to the patient.

simplicity, easy to use
Reviewer: S. from Lexington, MA

End User Desc: 73 yrs old, ALS, limited use of arms and legs

Strengths: simplicity, easy to use

Weaknesses: Manual doesn't state which loop to use:"loop nearest to patient". That would always be the blue one. Casters too small for easy movement. Black tape on lifting arm gets torn by blue loops.
