Description
For years customers have asked us if it there was such a thing as a rolling walker that could be used as a transport chair. Until now we had to answer "No." Drive Medical combined the features of both into their new Duet. The Drive Medical Duet Transport Chair and Rolling Walker combines the features of a transport chair and rolling walker which allows it to be used independently or be pushed by a caregiver. The Duet features a two position padded contoured back rest which can be can be attached to the front or the back and provides comfort and support. The footrest folds down when used as a transport chair and folds up and out of the way when being used as a walker. With large 8” casters the Drive Duet Transport Chair and Rollator is ideal for indoor and outdoor use.Customer Ratings

Strengths: I love the versatility of this Rollator. I've long wished that the features of a walker could be combined with a wheel chair and wondered why it was not made. Well...here it is. Very portable yet durable enough to carry my 285 lbs. Excellant buy.
Weaknesses: The only weakness is that i found it after I'd struggled for a couple of years without it.

End User Desc: Partially disabled 67 year old woman who can walk with a rollater, but becomes fatigued and then needs a wheelchair .
Strengths: Switches readily and easily between functions. Lightweight, collapsible and very portable. Attractive. The carry space under the seat makes it more compact and easier to manoeuvre. Fits in train aisles. My first choice when traveling.
Weaknesses: The small wheels don't cross small ridges, bumps, tracks, or any obstacles very easily when used as a wheelchair. It can tip you out forward if bumps are approached rapidly and you must get up to cross ridges or tracks safely. The seat is hard and rigid for long term seating.
