For the five days that Mom used it, it seemed to be extremely comfortable. I sat in the chair and tried it myself and was very pleased. I was initially very hesitant to spend so much on a cushion, but was glad once it arrived and was on the chair. Because she only used it for five days, I can't speak for how it holds up.
