This would be my Mom who has severe arthritis.
Very excellent chair
The quality and workmanship
The Monarch Plus PR 359 could be made a little wider and longer.

Better had we gotten it earlier on.
It is a sturdy piece of furniture It is an attractive piece. The multiple positions
The remote control is not easy for one with cognitive challenges The top "pillow" protrudes a bit too far

Female, overweight, 84 years, partially immobile.
comfortable chair.
Stand up position getting out of chair.
should have an on and off button on the remote instead of pulling the plug to turn off electric.
cornelius m. from bayville, nj (caregiver)
my husband Cornelius has Parkinsons and Lewy Body disease. He is 85 years old. Had trouble getting in and out of a chair.
chair comfortable, easy to use & able to get up
the chair has met my expectations, I am able to sit & get up with ease. I ordered a larger weight limit as not to stress the chair motor, I am delighted I did.
I have none, I read others comments which helped me not to expect more than what I was aware of such as firmness & material quality, no complaints about the mechanics of the chair.

The user is a 71 year old 290 lb male with a bad hip and right shoulder. The shoulder makes it impossible to use a recliner side lever.
Helps you get out of the chair, with ease
The chair is great for getting out of it.
I's not as comfortable as I would have liked it to be.I hope in time it will be.
tanya l. from broaddus, tx
I'm 62 years old, I have a bad back and the chair has been a great gift.
It helps me to get up with ease instead of pushing up with...
It gives me freedom from a lot of pain in getting out of a chair. It also fits me quite well - not perfect - but quite well. Most of the positions are very good and almost infinite.
The same as everybody else says - the back of the seat goes back too far when viewing TV or reading a book. There should be an interim setting for a straighter back with the legs raised for comfort.
