Need to measure width of self before buying?

Strengths:
It's concept and design.
Weaknesses:
(1) Width is 2" too narrow for me (i'm not wide enough for a larger chair)--not enough room for evacuating when toileting. (2) The wheels are too small for rolling over carpet.

This product is almost perfect for its purpose and is a superb design. However it could be wider for larger people but not by too much.
