Backpacker AVP Inside Wheelchair and Scooter Lift

I can travel with my family without leaving my chair on the back bumper to get dirty or bumped by a careless driver.

Wish it had a heavier duty motor for a heavier wheelchair (350 lbs.) - mine is at the maximum limit, which leaves no room to spare when loading it.

Used to move Pride Victory 10 into and out of my 2005 Honda Pilot.

Lifts both a regular wheelchair and the little Go-Go scooter with little or no effort.

Power required to handle the load is there. Ease of operation is good. Time will tell us.

Power cords are everywhere or in the way and could be more available when loaded.

I have a problem walking any distance, the backpacker allows me travel to the mall and sporting event with my Victory 10.

Engineering, professional installation. Tech support by phone in selecting the end product for me and the new mini-van I purchased for the AVP.

Having to stand and hold the button for loading and unloading. Inside rattles when driving with lift on-board.

I love how versatile this lift is. I can use it now and transfer it to a newer vehicle if necessary.

It would be nice to have a remote control feature. Otherwise, I haven't found any weaknesses yet.

I love this backpacker! I use it in a 2007 Dodge Caravan, but this would be easy to transfer into a newer model vehicle.
