I can travel alone now!!!
Love this lift. I can load/unload by myself with only 1 hand operation. It does take a little practice, but if I can do it, anyone can. Even my 7yr old grand baby can operate it with supervision. Now I can go even if it rains and won't have to worry about trying to cover my wheelchair. My old outside lift even froze in the winter...now I can go year round!!
I advise you to use their professional installation service unless you are very strong, have a friend to help, and are mechanically inclined. Even the professional installer had to call the manufacturer for more details on installation. It does rattle a little and make some odd noises while traveling, but like other reviewers, it works and you can tolerate this. It is a little slow to load/unload, but that's a safety feature. You will have to stand in 1 place approx. 2 minutes and walk the length of your vehicle. I just lean onto my van and hold onto my cane. I also have to plug and unplug it into the lighter during use, because when I left it plugged, it drained my car battery. Now I leave it plugged while traveling and the vehicle's running and that, so far, has kept the lift battery well charged. Just have to remember to unplug it or run my car battery down.

Does not eliminate all of the seating in your van. Fits in 3rd row seat area. Keeps chair protected inside vehicle.

Mid-fifties, confined to wheelchair for 6 years. Owned two other lifts before.
Yes, I would recommend this.
It keeps the motorized wheelchair inside our vehicle & out of the weather.
Much too expensive & insurances will not pay for any costs. We're also having to get used to some rattles & noises from the lift, but I guess that can't be prevented.

I'm 73, have emphysema & cannot walk many steps. Hopefully, this will give me more opportunities to go more places.
Good value and high quality.
Seems very sturdy. was easy to install. Fit perfectly with installation kit provided for my specific vehicle.
Wired remote works well but I wish it was a wireless remote. A little noisy but not a big deal. It rattles while driving the vehicle.

My legs are paralyzed but I can walk as long as I have something to hold to. I lean against the mini-van walking to the rear to get my wheelchair off
does the job very well
-minimal risk for mishap loading and unloading -my wife can manage loading and unloading without my help
It would be nice if it could be loaded and unloaded from the front (directly behind the vehicle) as often traffic or curbing interferes with smooth side loading and unloading.

My wife has very limited use of her legs, as she suffers from a hereditary spinal condition causing muscles to atrophy.
