I can travel alone now!!!
Love this lift. I can load/unload by myself with only 1 hand operation. It does take a little practice, but if I can do it, anyone can. Even my 7yr old grand baby can operate it with supervision. Now I can go even if it rains and won't have to worry about trying to cover my wheelchair. My old outside lift even froze in the winter...now I can go year round!!
I advise you to use their professional installation service unless you are very strong, have a friend to help, and are mechanically inclined. Even the professional installer had to call the manufacturer for more details on installation. It does rattle a little and make some odd noises while traveling, but like other reviewers, it works and you can tolerate this. It is a little slow to load/unload, but that's a safety feature. You will have to stand in 1 place approx. 2 minutes and walk the length of your vehicle. I just lean onto my van and hold onto my cane. I also have to plug and unplug it into the lighter during use, because when I left it plugged, it drained my car battery. Now I leave it plugged while traveling and the vehicle's running and that, so far, has kept the lift battery well charged. Just have to remember to unplug it or run my car battery down.

Very well built. Fits existing vehicle arrangement without jeopardizing the warranty.
Would have preferred factory rep install with power from the vehicle battery, which is the preferred connection.

This Vehicle lift has increased my independence.
The lift makes putting a Pride scooter into a vehicle possible without effort.
Expense is a factor I would consider a weakness. It isn't covered by Medicare and not everyone could afford it.

Unit is functional, does the job but needs refinement
Its functional, can be profesionally installed. But they will not install hard wire kit, period. Unit does what they claim it will do
Unless you buy a special package that will allow hard wire to also charge the lift battery, you will have to charge the battery with provided charger. Keep in mind the professional installer will not install the hard wire kit as part of installation. Unit will drive you nuts with clinging and rattles had to put softners between tin gaurds to help quite so you can talk with a passengers.

Mid-fifties, confined to wheelchair for 6 years. Owned two other lifts before.
Yes, I would recommend this.
It keeps the motorized wheelchair inside our vehicle & out of the weather.
Much too expensive & insurances will not pay for any costs. We're also having to get used to some rattles & noises from the lift, but I guess that can't be prevented.
