It is PERFECT.
It is well designed, light weight, yet very sturdy and holds his weight of 195 very well...gets him in and out of the shower efficiently, makes it very easy for the patient and caregiver.
We are very satisfied with the product. No weaknesses. I definitely recommend this product as very helpful and well crafted.

Transfer Bench w/ sliding seat: Review
The sliding seat. For someone who is weak and can't move themselves easily, this works wonderfully.
If the seat swiveled it would be even easier to use.

Best product for anyone needing this service. Also, best...
It's durability, 5 minute set up for use, comfortable for the patient, very easy for the care giver to help with bathing needs. Also, the transfer from wheelchair to bench is a breeze.
The only problem we have experienced is not having railing attached to the seat. The safety strap helps, however, for a patient with no balance, it was difficult at first. My son simple attached two small pvc elbows ,solved the problem.

The transfer bench w/sliding seat was recommened by the physican taking care of my wife, 83yrs old who suffered a stroke.
Makes bathing much easier.
The seat has a cutout to allow washing. Slider reduces potential fall.
I was told the seat had a cutout, but when it arrived, no cutout. I had to order additional replacement seat, then replace myself. Cost me additional $30 with shipping cost.

ANY ONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS AS ME
THE SLIDING SEAT AND THE SAFTY LOCKS ON BOTH SIDES
THE BACK SEAT BRACE IS A L ITTLE TO FAR BACK AND YOU MUST LEAD FORWARD TO WASH. WOULD BE BETTER IF THE SEAT BACK WAS FURTHER IN .

The feature that it slides into tube after transferring onto the bench outside the tube. great help for small bathroom and inability of person to lift legs into tub.
Wish it had a padded seat
