Basic shower chair that meets my needs.
This shower chair is very basic which makes for easy delivery and use. Fits over a standard toilet seat, eliminating the need to be transferred to shower. This minimizes caretaker stress.
I have been using this product for many, many years. Although I find it to be the best shower chair for my needs at this time, I have always been curious as to why it is not more rustproof, and the braking system more durable. All of my replacement chairs have been the result of the brake mechanism essentially disintegrating from excessive rust. Obviously it is a challenge to design a product that will sustain constant water submergence, but other shower chairs are made with PVC which is a hard plastic, and this one is not.

I am a 48 year old woman with spastic cerebral palsy.
Would be very nice for a smaller person.
Easy to keep clean. Wheels move easily with weight on seat.
Too narrow to urinate into toilet for a large person. It would benefit from having removable arms. Bar across back is very uncomfortable.

Back rest required an added pillow
Replaced simple shower chair. Allows more thorough cleaning and walk-in shower plus wheeled design of this chair makes easy transfer to shower area.
Back rest comfort - top bar isn't comfortable.
