Great buy from a very helpful, efficient company.
This lack of those big side wheels makes it easy to get through some tight spaces in the house. It is also easy to fold and transport, and easy to maneuver with the oversized read wheels. It came with a seat belt which a previous review said it had lacked, so reviews seem to have an effect!
It doesn't seem to lock open and feels like it is going to fold shut when we are getting her in to it, but that may just be my inexperience with such equipment. Her aide seems to handle it very well.

My mother, at 85, with advanced Parkinson's can no longer walk and is incapable of wheeling herself.
Great Product ... Great Service
Ease of folding. Actaully I did not think I would use the hand brakes, but they are a must, and I would encourage anyone who buys on to include the hand brakes. I like the swing out foot rests.
For the price, it's a great product. I used it on some rough terain, and found it is not made for that, but normal smooth ok, but think the ad mentioned that fact.

My wife, age 63 had a mild stroke on 1/18/06.
It's everything Spinlife advertised.
Lightweight, and folds up compactly.
The footrests could be easier to adjust and tighten.
