Some of the stress points tend to break when the user of the wheelchair is young and active. Cross members, main frame pieces in particular are weak points. When parts break, the manufacturer is not very speedy in getting replacements. Although Spinlife professionals are very helpful in facilitating the process and tend to speed the replacement process up.

Price,Quality,Quickie reputation and durability.
Last Quickie2 I bought was in 1991. Replaced two cross braces through the years but cost was labor only. I have three acres and don't have sidewalks so my chair can take a lot of abuse. Antique cars are my hobby so between swap meets and other events the Quickie2 never broke and left me stranded. Thank You Spin Life from a C-7 Quad since 1970 for your service. Ben, Florida
Can't find any. If paint bothers you get a titanium chair.

plenty of adjustments to configure the chair to be exactly what you need. The price was a fair price. The wheelchair tech I dealt with when ordering was very knowledgable.
only had the Quickie 2 chair for a month but no glaring weaknesses yet

After using my last chair since 1999, I am getting used to...
It is light weight and easy to handle. After I "wear it in", I will feel more comfortable, since I spend most of my waking hours in my chair.
When my chair first arrived, my brother did the "some assembly required" for me. He adjusted the foot pedals and checked the hand brake tightness. He noticed that the back "leaned" slightly foreward instead of back. He and my sister removed the back upholstery and noticed the upper back frames were attached incorrectly. They repositioned them correctly and now it is fine. Please check your Quality Control.

I am a 65 year old female with T8-L2 paraplegia. I have been a wheelchair user since 1983. I have increasing Arthritis and progressive loss of hand.
THIS IS MY THIRD QUICKIE...ALL ALIKE.
WEIGHT...ENOUGH TO BE STABLE, BUT AVERAGE PERSON CAN LIFT IT. AT THE MOMENT SEAT CUSHION SLIDES OUT MAKING CHAIR UNUSEABLE.
COST...TIE DOWN NOT SENT FOOT HANGERS ARE DIFFICULT TO ATTACH.

Not as good as I hoped
Light weight
Many features that should be free cost extra - too much extra. As a result, my clothes get dirty from rubbing against the wheels. It is too wide to get through a 24" door. The back is not really adjustable as claimed. The detachable arms smetimes detatch themselves when the chair is picked up - very embaressing in a crowded parking lot.
