My father needed a wheelchair light enough for his elderly friends to be able to pick up so that they could take him places in their cars. This wheelchair fit the bill. The narrow profile is handy for maneuvering in restaurants and other tight quarters, as well. It is also easier for him to push himself than a heavier chair would be.

It doesn't have pockets where the user can reach them.

The chair was an excellent help in my 10 day trip to Israel. It was light enough for one person to carry it up the flights of stairs we encountered.

when you open the chair your fingers can get crushed. There is a heavy spring and you have to be careful.
