Lightweight Expedition w/12" Rear Wheels: Review
Comfortable (with foam cushion). Easy to fold and lift. We like it almost as well as the very similar Invacare she had.
Handles and handbrakes fan out slightly, making it easy to catch on doorways.

96 yrs. HX stroke and CHF. Ambulates short distances with walker but unable to stand long due to back pain. (We do not want ads or offers of equip)
It is light weight. It runs smoothly. The brakes work.
Strongly made. Nice, large, strong rear tires. Nice, fairly strong brakes.
When you collapse the handles to put it into the trunk of our car the handles take a lot of effort to collapse and then when you try to put the handles back in place, they have to be pushed hard to "lock" the handles...not real easy as it should be, .... in my opinion.

My 67 year old wife has MS. and can hardly walk at all. We use the chair when going anywhere.
Great!
Construction, brakes.
Brakes up top are awkward.

It is a good sturdy transport chair.
Braking system is better. Seat is more comfortable.
The foot rests do not have a heel strap. The company could not send us foot rests with heel strap. We had to order the heel straps and install them ourselves. Have not done so yet.

My husband, age 86, had a stroke 4 years ago. A friend gave us a transport chair which worked just fine. Due to a lot of wear and tear it wore out.
The chair was perfect for transporting my mom in areas...

The maneuverability is good and it is light-weight.
Good design.
I removed the handle breaks as they were not effective. I had brakes installed at the wheel base that were removed from another wheel chair; the chair operates much better now.

Very uncomfortable sitting bolt upright. Also, one brake...
Only used it once, but it's lightweight, makes it easy to handle.
To me, the seating would be more comfortable if the back had more slack in it. Then I wouldn't be sitting bolt upright in a most uncomfortable position. I spent an hour in it, and was glad to get out of it. On the whole, it will fit my purposes, and I'm glad I purchased it. Also, one brake rubs the tire and makes a grinding noise. Will have my son look at it. Can't be too hard to adjust.

User has COPD, and cannot walk more than a few yards.
Easy to fold and pick up to store in trunk, foot rests easy...
Ease of use.
Not good on soft and grassy terrain.

Lightweight Expedition w/12" Rear Wheels: Review
Lightweight and ease of loading and unloading
Definitely needs a brake that can be set by caregiver while assisting patient with loading and unloading from the vehicle. Cannot lock wheels at the table in a restaurant. From the description, it sounded to me like you could "set" a brake. That should be better clarified in the description.
