Best of all the cushions I have tried.
It is air filled and it can be adjusted. Gel moves when you sit on it, the Roho type leaks air from the cells. This one lets you control the air. I usually leave it full of air. Never had a pressure sore from this cushion.
It does leak a small amount of air now after using it for a month or so as did the cushion that came with the last chair. The first cushions I had did not leak air out. This is my 7th Varilite cushion.

Intermittent wheelchair use. Inability to walk distance. Morbidly obese apple shape. Sore butt with prolonged sitting. Used in power wheelchair.
Works well for my needs.
Lightweight; promotes even weight distribution and reduces risk of pressure ulcers.
This purchase was a replacement, after 1.5 years, for the original cushion, which lost inflation due to a failed seam that cannot be fixed by the company's repair kit.
