This is my 3rd Pride chair and the best.

4.5 / 5
Strengths:

Two motors my others did not have. Footrest Extension Upgrade is great.

Weaknesses:

Afraid the cable for the controller will get pinched.

Reviewer:
User Details:

I use a BI-pap machine and the chair will allow my head to raise to clear congestion.

Very comfortable and easy to use.

4.3 / 5
Strengths:

That it is very comfortable for a tall person and supports the head very well. Having the legs and back move independently is nice because you can be in a sitting position with your feet up.

Weaknesses:

My husband often eats in his chair and it would be nice if the back came up further without thrusting him so far forward so he could reach the portable table easier.

User Details:

My husband is 68 and has had Parkinson's for 13 years. He is 6'1" and has had a difficult time getting up from a sitting position.

Chair meets expectations; controller connection is awful.

3.5 / 5
Strengths:

Chair provides varying levels of lift and recline positions.

Weaknesses:

Product instructions states that the controller should be disconnected when not in use. Connecting and disconnecting the controller is a two-hand operation. The connection is located on the right side at the top of the pocket. It is 15+ inches from the top of the armrest. It is extremely difficult for a user with impaired muscle use. A longer connection cord, so that a user could make the connection in their lap and still store the cord in the pocket would work. An on/off switch on the controller would also work.

Most comfortable recliner ever!

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

The infinite position and the use of electric remote control.

Weaknesses:

The pocket for the control is too far down the side. Could be higher for easier reach.

Reviewer:
User Details:

Somewhat impaired mobility. This chair was used after hip surgery and was found to be extremely comfortable and practical. It is now the favorite chai

Chair is good!

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

The ability to offer so many positions has been nice. The leather surface is easy to clean.

Weaknesses:

Assembly directions were not very specific so you need to understand some mechanics when putting together.

Reviewer:
User Details:

Our son is wheelchair-bound and can only stand long enough to transfer so we needed a chair to assist him. He is also has epilepsy and needs a chair

Excellent addition to a life of limited mobility and...

4.8 / 5
Strengths:

Range of positions and comfort

Weaknesses:

Both back and foot rest are about 1" short for a tall person.

Reviewer:
User Details:

Limited mobility leaves the user confined to wheelchair or walker. The chair offers a third option and a very comfortable alternative.

The lift chair is by far top notch!!

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

Design and comfort

Weaknesses:

My husband is a retired engineer. He assembled the chair in less than an hour, following instructions. The directions were somewhat confusing and if he hadn't had some experience, I would recommend paying a tech to perform the assembly.

Reviewer:
User Details:

As am getting more dependent on more physical aids as I age; the lift chair is a true blessing for giving me comfort and assistance.

I love my new chair and we got the color like the last,...

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

It does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Weaknesses:

I think you should work on having the back lift up straighter while your legs are stretched out so you can more comfortably watch TV. I need my legs up because of edema after several knee replacements so I sit more and watch TV and it would be nice to sit up straightere to watch TV or to read.

Reviewer:

I personally use this chair as I have several disabilities, knee replacements, shoulder (rotator cuff) repairs and I am heavy.

Pride's quality shows in this chair

5.0 / 5
Strengths:

The mechanism feels strong as does the overall quality of the chair. I chose leather and it is extremely soft.

Weaknesses:

Once you start the vibration, it is set for 20 minutes and cannot be turned off; small thing. The heat can be turned off at any time.

Reviewer:
User Details:

I wanted an infinity movement chair with heat and vibration. This one is great for my back. It will also stand me to a nearly standing position.
