Does the job.
low cost
Ordered the locking caster option but on one side, the locking lever prevents 360 degree swivel. Had to add two flat washers for the caster to clear the frame.

Hydraulic Lift w/Adjustable Base: Review
Easy to use! Transfers patient easily.
Would be nice if it lifted the patient a little higher. Lifts plenty high to transfer from chair to commode, etc. but difficult to get on anything but a low bed.

lift is easy to use but handle could be taller and it...
Ease of use. Well built.
Does not have brakes. This should have been mentioned in the on line description of the product. Wheels are difficult to manuever in tight places. Handle is too low for operator use. Top bar for lift is too low, client fearful bar will hit him in the head.

Aid for sole caregivers
Low cost. It's hard but, with this lift, it's possible to get a person off the floor if you have nobody to help you.
Difficult to maneuver on carpet. If using the product to transfer to or from a bed, you need a very high clearance bed frame to get the wheels to clear (likely not unique to this particular lift).

I am the sole caregiver for my aging (and obese) mother who desperately wants to remain in her house.
Appears to be exactly as advertized.
At this point, I have to explain my purchase of this hydraulic lift. I have not actually used the lift yet. I purchased the lift to have it available should I end up on the floor again (three times I have had to spend the night on the floor until our son could come to pick me up). I am too heavy for my wife to lift me up. We did put the lift through a "dry run" using my son as the "patient". The lift worked well, and though I hope I will never have to make use of it, I feel like my wife will be able to get me up fom the floor. The lift is constructed very well and is really quite easy to operate. The lift was easy to assemble and is "finished off" very nicely. We have a very small house and "maneuvering space" is limited, but it did work.
At this point, I know of no weaknesses.

Used to move 80 year old wife from recliner to a hospital bed with a potty sling. Works very well. I'm glad I ordered the one with adjustable legs.
A lifesaver for me
Easy to spread the legs for getting my wife out of her chair and sitting her into the wheelchair
Very hard to use on carpet. had to put down hardboard around her chair.

Hydraulic Lift w/Adjustable Base: Review
I have had the lift only about a month and have not had to use it yet, however it appears to be ideal for the purpose I bought it for.
Would like to have had a sling with a rigid seat. I think a rigid seat would be easier to get the patient out.
