E-Z Carrier 2 Fold-Up Scooter & Power Wheelchair Lift:...
Freedom to use product without having to take apart a scooter. This can be a bothersome task if you have to do it many times.
I received the adapter two times, once for a 1 1/2 inch hitch and another time for a 2 inch hitch. Both times I received box missing parts. Instructions are not easy to read and understand and are incomplete.

Permanent partial disability.
Convenience of transporting an electric scooter is great.
The ease of folding up when not in use, tie-down holes, and height of side rails are some of the good points of this carrier.
The only weakness I found with this carrier is the length of the ramp.

63 years of age, obese, hypertensive, arthritic, oxygen user, crushed left femure in auto accident.
Good buy for the price.
This carrier is easy to use and not too heavy for a woman to lift by herself.
It needs reflectors for when it is in the upright position as well as when it is down to carry a chair or scooter.

It gives some freedom back to me.
Good quality. Economical answer to taking scooter with you, easy to load scooter on this carrier.
Sometimes a little tough for a person with weak upper body strenght to wrestle with pins and cotters.

Can't walk far and have trouble breathing.
Easy to use, good value and I would recommend it.
Able to handle heavier then average weight. Long battery usage.
To install the cover the arms must be removed. It takes more room to turn than the 3 wheel, but 4 wheels I think are more stable.

The lift seems to be rusting in some places. I'm not sure it should be doing that so soon since I just received it in January.

It is nice being able to be independent again as I am able...
The carrier is not too difficult to use myself and travels well on my 92 Lincoln Continental.
When my husband tried to install the carrier piece into the Class II hitch you recommended for my car, the piece would not fit into the hitch opening. The corners of the carrier was square and should be rounded to fit into the hitch carrier. We had to bring the carrier to a welding company to have to the ends grounded so it would fit into the hitch. Also the ramp was too steep for my car so we had to put the carrier to the lowest setting which meant it would hit the ground when going over bumps. We had to bring the carrier back to the welding company to have them cut off the lower piece of the carrier so this would not happen.

I am a 62 year old woman who was diagnosed with ALS in January of 2005. I still have use of my arms and can still walk limited distances.
Instructions are inadequate.
Solid construction and durability.
Does not work smoothly. Pin needs to be hammered in and out for use.

Elderly female with walking disability.
I'm very happy that I found this fold-up scooter carrier.
I like that it can fold up flat behind the car when not in use. The ramp is easy to use and isn't too steep for the scooter to drive up. The EZ Carrier 2 is very well made, very solid so I don't worry about it falling off the car and wrecking my new scooter.
It can be difficult to fold up because I have to lift the outer corner of the carrier while trying to pull the lower hitch pin out. Other than that, I've found no problems.

Only recommend for provider, not for user like my mom
This is a great price and seems to be sturdy for continuing use. This has made my Mom's visit SO much easier.
The weight and stiffness of the pulls to open the carrier can be intimidating. If this is main transport for an elderly or sickly person something needs to be done for usibility in case of lack of strength.
