Used to lift me from one position to another. My wife operates the lift.
A wonderful product
The fact that it can lift from the floor
Price is a little high
bonnie c. from roscoe, pa (caregiver)
My daughter is the reason I bought the lift; she has a neuromuscular disease and sometimes has trouble transferring
The Hoyer is like adding another person's strength to help...
It allows us to get the handicapped person from one point to another in a much easier way.
It doesn't reach high enough to get him on the new mattress heights.

The Advanced Hoyer Lift is a major blessing that helps my husband get into his wheelchair when he lacks the strength to do it himself.
Very well made.
Easy to use.
Does not roll on carpet when transferring patient.
lorraine h. from los lunas, nm (caregiver)
My 78 year old husband, weight 230#, has a degenerative muscle disease. He is not able to stand or transfer by himself.
Great lift at reasonable price
The lift is lightweight and easily movable, transitions well between wood floor and carpet, good battery life, doesn't take up much floor space, love the foot pedals.
I wish the remote was magnetic so that it would stay where you put it, the recharge cord is very short, and the remote buttons are rather small.
christopher b. from geneva, il (caregiver)
My husband has multiple sclerosis and although he weighs very little and is relatively tall, his muscles get very spastic.
I gave a four on ease of use because it does not roll on...
It is well built and does everything I need to move the patient
The ease of use as I stated on carpet. It would be better if it had larger wheels and would roll better on carpet
robert b. from portsmouth, va (caregiver)
My wife is 84 and is a paraplegic and cannot walk
The electric lift is excellent.
The ease of adjusting width and height to mobilize the lift are a great advantage for both patient and lift handler(s).
No weaknesses thus far, except perhaps some difficulty folding it.
barbara c. from northridge, ca (caregiver)
My paraplegic husband has been wheelchair confined for 50 years; however, within the past 2.5 years, he has had nine surgeries.
Excellent product.
Ease of use.
Could use bigger wheels for use on carpet.
