great chair easy to use and stow away in car, light weight...
Light weight, easy to push even on hills, breakes are wonderful on hills and trails.
Needs more comfort for handler. Handles are a little uncomfortable, angle off just a little.

Hand Brakes. No Instructions. I thought you could "set" the brakes by using the hand brakes and that is why I ordered this particular model; so I was disappointed to find that you could not.

light, easy to use
the brake on the left side wheel cannot be tightened--it does not hold the brake; the right side is ok. This is our second purchase of this type of transport chair and the weakness is the same

It has given my dad new life.
Light weight, easy to use and store or carry.
Some of the plastice parts break easily. Optional attachments like shopping baskets or carry pouches would be great!
ron s. from wolcott, ct (caregiver)
76 year old man with limited motor functions who tires easily and has trouble standing.
The alignment is not perfect and that causes some problems.
Light weight, easy to push over uneven ground, is narrow enough to go through doorways, good solid brakes and tires.
Not comfortable for sitting a long time.

My husband is 67 years old and suffered a massive left brain stroke in January, 2006. He is paralyzed on the right side and can not speak.
(1) Positioning of handle bars (2) Wheels
Good quality with light weight. Relatively inexpensive.
Pushing the wheelchair would be more comforatable for the caregiver if A. the handlebars would be adjustable: 1 - to a lower or higher position. 2 - to angle up and down (through an arc). 3 - to rotate in and out.

My wife, 81 years of age, becoming unstable on her feet, due to some loss of balance and (leg) muscle weakness.
A good quality product that met our needs.
Ease of transport and relatively light weight.
Found none so far.
norman r. from laurel, md (caregiver)
76 year old female with right hip and leg problem which limits mobility, and ability to stand for any lenght of time.
It was good for its use
It held together for my England trip, it was comfortable as could be expected.
The feet are weak. I lost the nuts on the screws that hold the straps on so both were out of order.

uncomfortable w/o cushion. cushion falls through the back.
lightweight, easy to maneuver, folds tight, handle brakes help when going downhill and easy parking.
brakes squeek when going downhill, uncomfortable w/o cushion and cushion falls through back, no storage pocket on back of chair, no drink holder on front, no height adjustment from ground to seat height, needs better foot push for tilting chair to drop off curbs, no side pockets for storage. When a person is using a chair they usually stay in it for long periods of time and storage pockets for the patient and the person pushing are always needed. A velco cushion attachment would make the chair comfortable. An optional headrest would also be nice for someone who may sleep in the chair. Place wheel locks for easy access for the person sitting in the chair in the event the attendant forgets and the chair takes off.
