I AM WHEELCHAIR BOUND AND MY REAR TAKES A LOT OF ABUSE
Good, but takes everyday maintenance.
Provides pressure relief while allowing air penetrate affected area.
Difficult to mantain because the cushion can spring a leak and loose its pressure and support in short order.

I'm 50 and confinded to a wheelchair, because of an accident. I think ROHO needs to put more patches in the box with the cushions.

Best money can buy.
can sit in wheel chair for long periods of time with no sores of any kind, very well tolerated.
the cushion is too thick, makes it unhandy to transfer her from bed to wheelchair, on acct of the difference in height.
harold w. from reading, pa (caregiver)
the end user , is my wife.& she is confined to a Nursing home.I haven't heard her complain since she received the cushion we are well pleased,
Great cushion, at an even better price
The comfort, for me, is the major factor, with washability an extremely close second. It may be the easiest cushion to clean, and it dries fast. Repairability, and ease of adjustmeant are not far behind though. The support of the ROHO company has always been unbelieveable, even offering a loner when repairs are needed.
Not being able to adjust the seating depth myself is perhaps the worst thing. Of course being a quad with no finger motion, and limited hand motion, means this would hold true for most adjustable cushions.

I'm 57 years old, and have been a C-6 Quad since 1975. I've had only a few decubitus, mostly due, I believe to ROHO cushions.
Very good cushion, except that it begins developing leaks...
Takes pressure off bony part of seat very well.
The cushion develops leaks too easily and then becomes unreliable. A better material needs to be found for the cushion air cells.

User is 40 yr old paraplegic due to birth defect Spina Bifida. He develops pressure sores on his seat if he does not use a very good cushion.
