It is a good lift for the price and I am very satisfied...
Can pick up from the floor which is the best strength of any lifts.
It is a little difficult to get the sling attached to the lift.

Large gentleman, overweight, unable to walk or stand
The Hoyer lift was very easy to use.
The strengths of this product is its ease of use and its maneuverability. I slipped in the shower the day after the lift was delivered. My husband did not have any problems lifting me off of the floor and onto the bed.
We have only used the lift once and we do not know of any weaknesses for the Hoyer Lift.

My wife has MS. At 62 she can no longer get out of bed her self.
Very easy to use and to put together.
Doesn't seem flimsy or prone to breakage very readily. Good manufacturing.
I do wish it could lift a patient higher when it comes to transferring to a bed. All mattresses are different so if you have quite a high bed, you have to make sure and place the patient very appropriately in their sling to raise them high enough.
