Quickie GP/GPV: Review

4.8 / 5
Strengths:

After using numerous folding wheelchairs for 25 years, I like the rigid feel of the Quickie GP.

Weaknesses:

I would have liked to have larger front end tires, but due to size constraints on my wheelchair lift and housing situation it was not possible for myself.

The ease of maneuverability.

Weaknesses:

In transferring the chair moves, even while locked. Maybe this is because it is so lightweight.

This chair is light and very easy to maneuver.

Great value for the money!

4.7 / 5
Strengths:

The chair is light enough (without going to the expense of titanium) for me at 5'2" and 127 lbs with poor balance to handle by myself without the need for a lift. I just pop off the wheel, fold down the seat & go. The chair fits in the passenger seat of my compact p/u truck. I love that!

Weaknesses:

The rear seat fabric is fraying after only about one month of use. I don't like that at all. I have a regular 2" foam cushion in the seat. I don't understand why it frayed so quickly.
