Although the cushion is the primary part, the covers must...
Cushion is the same as I have purchased in the past from another source. Seems to be fine.
Cushion cover and extra cushion cover that I purchased have already begun to separate; side from top. The stitching is coming apart. They have had normal use, nothing that would cause excessive wear. They are of a different fabric than the kind I used in the past. I have had 2 Roho cushions in 7 years and the covers have worn like iron.

When the cushion begins to lose effectiveness, it can be aired up again and is as good as new. My mom (in trying to change positions in the chair) has slipped out of her chair. That no longer happens because the cushion allows her to move a bit without the danger of slipping since it contours to the body.
