I am 54 years old and have been a T-6 paraplegic for the last 34 years due to a motorcycle accident. I've had many problems with pressure sores.

Although the cushion is very firm (some might think hard) it seems to provide more even support that helps if you have pressure sores. Also its reduced heat buildup helped heal my pressure sores.

Softer upper layer crushes over time and goes from very firm to hard. I have a Stimulite Contoured and a Stimulite Contoured XS. As I even sleep in my chair I switch cushions every couple of days to let the upper layer expand. The Stimulite Contoured XS is the softer of the two cushions, however, both are very firm. I also have a Varilite Evolution cushion. It is a much softer Air/Foam cushion. However the heat buildup breaks down my skin.

Cushion extremely hard, unable to use, as it is very uncomfortable, so much so, couldn't sit on for more than a few minutes without experiencing pain. Would return, however, using cover for a different cushion with an added 2 inch foam on top of to prevent pressure sores.

they are more comfortable when you have enough thickness from the honeycomb. they are better for the my positioning when i am in my chair for long time.

the honeycomb is not as thick as more expensive one.this seems a little less padding right under knees.

The honeycomb stly of the coushion is very durable and soft all at the same time.

The countour specific cushion could be perfected to match each users bottom through measurements from the user to the designers.

These are the finest wheelchair cushions available. The one I purchased from Spinlife was to replace one I relied on for over 16 years. Any questions?

Lightweight,breathable,and fits well with the contoured model.

My concern will be how durable and how long it will last. My gel cushion lasted 7 years. I hope I can get good life from this cushion.

Excellent protection, great feel and most comfortable. I will not order any other product to sit on.

A bit pricy...too pricy really...but what can you do. Other than the price, the only complaint is that once stains, the stain is permanent.

I have been using these cushions for the last 7 years and as I do have some feeling below my injury, this is the most comfortable cushion I have found

The cushion provides good stability for sitting. I am not noticing as much shear or sliding forward as with the flat version of this cushion. This is my 3rd stimulite cushion and I love the ease of cleaning.

do not buy the sling bottom cushion if you have a rigid chair with a fabric seat if the fabric is tight. The pillow will not fit well.
