We bought it for transporting. So far so good we did find it to be very narrow in the Seat area.
great chair
the total weight is so lite it's easy for my wife to remove from the trunk of our car. It is east to push me around (6'2" 263) and works great for both of us
The foot rest were a little confusing at first for my wife but not for long

Great product for those with mobility limits
The companion chair is lightweight, folds down at the seat/back area to minimize the size necessary to store, is easy to keep someone with mobility limits safely seated.
