Hydraulic Lift w/Adjustable Base

At this point, I have to explain my purchase of this hydraulic lift. I have not actually used the lift yet. I purchased the lift to have it available should I end up on the floor again (three times I have had to spend the night on the floor until our son could come to pick me up). I am too heavy for my wife to lift me up. We did put the lift through a "dry run" using my son as the "patient". The lift worked well, and though I hope I will never have to make use of it, I feel like my wife will be able to get me up fom the floor. The lift is constructed very well and is really quite easy to operate. The lift was easy to assemble and is "finished off" very nicely. We have a very small house and "maneuvering space" is limited, but it did work.

At this point, I know of no weaknesses.

Easy to spread the legs for getting my wife out of her chair and sitting her into the wheelchair

Very hard to use on carpet. had to put down hardboard around her chair.

The hoist is easy to assemble and take apart to take on trips! We use an electric hoist in the house, but it's too big and clumsy to take on trips and use in motels.
