Does eaxtly what is needed for transporting.
The height of the mast is low enough to fit in the back of car and lift through the front passenger door. I transported my wife 1,666 miles using the lift to get in and out of the car and wheelchair as well as into bed in motels.
Sometimes the wheels resist lining up with the wheel chair. The control handle for spreading the base legs sticks. After a little practice I learned some tricks for aligning the lift and chair and not over running the spread handle.

It's heavy, but I understand it must be.

90 years old. Cannot walk because of Knee pain. Lives in Cairo, Egypt. It's a godsend.
Excellent for power outages/travel; 2-person optimal.
Adjustability and portability
One-person use is less convenient due to placement of controls for changing width.

swivel bar too close to patient's face
Easier than lifting clients but takes more time
The swivel bar is way too close to patients face. A 6 pt cradle would have worked much better.
