depending on user
seems to be made quite well
seat doesn't seem to have any padding/give and is very hard and uncomfortable, feet rest are too small and have a pin that seems to press into the side of the heel, and arm rests are too high. Overall the chair is not made for a short person/ or for the comfort of the user.

It is too light, high off the floor; and less maneuverable...
It is easy to assemble and strong.
My negative review is perhaps more a reflection of our very limited space, my wife's weakness, and her dementia. If it were easier for her to maneuver I'm sure we would be having a different experience. It is a bit higher off floor than her other chairs, which is a problem for her in any case.

Patient is 65 yr old with congenital communicating hydrocephalus. Use only for showering
seat not wide enough
The quality and design function are exactly what I need to use for my husband
The seat is TOO narrow - I am taking it to a machine shop to see if they can widen the arms out enough to accommodate him - I cannot find a product like this with a wider seat - the weight limit on this is 300 pounds - my husband is around 280 - his sitting and his inability to exercise have widened his body from the time that he was active - the shower chair will work perfectly if we can adapt the width.

Not something I could use independently
The sturdiness of the product and its collapsibility are strengths
For me, the product would not work because it could not easily get around my toilet, it was too high for my feet to touch the floor while sitting on it, and I could not utilize the levers which keep the chair from moving without assistance. Therefore it was not something which would enable me to be independent.
