The chair being an inch and 1/2 slimmer than most 18" chairs....helps with the bathroom doorway. Ordering the 18" depth seat is great for folks that have longer legs-more support under the knee area. The space saver arms that both flip up and remove as well.
Very poor vinyl quality. The ad claims reinforced seats but it doesn't seem to be that at all ! The chair was delivered with a small slit/wear mark in the vinyl by the front left screw. It is now tearing with the weight/pressure and use. Who do I call for a replacement before it gets worse? I was disappointed that the chair does not have longer tubes out the back with a tipping device/rubber foot inserts to assist me tipping my mom up and over curbs and door sills....are attachments available....I didn't recall seeing them on an option list when I ordered it.

I just love Invacare - the only chair I would purchase.
I can use it as I need and it will take my activity.

I like it being so low so I can ride in the chair in the van without lowering floor of van.
Right pedal does not lock when swung into place. Have to lock it by hand.

I have polio. use in van so don't have to lower floor of van. 01-10-41
Very good product
lightweight but strong, love the teal!
plastic footrests seem kind of flimsy at times (when compared to my Dad's wheelchair, the same model but not lightweight)

We are VERY HAPPY with our purchase.
It meets all of my mother's needs exactly. She is sitting more comfortably and enjoying her surroundings more. The chair is so handsome that all the residents and employees notice and comment on it.
The brake system works very well but the handle protrudes outward slightly, and this causes some difficulty when visitors are sitting beside her at her table, as when helping her eat her lunch. Some of the joints of the wheelchair (ex. where the horizontal seat tube connects to the vertical leg tube) are sharply angled and she is able to bump her legs on them in the area of her knees. We are going to cover the joints of the wheelchair to prevent this from happening.

My mother is a tiny 94 year old woman who broke her right hip in 2001 and her left wrist in 2002.
Seems pretty good at this time.
Of course the main strength was the price. Checked other places they wanted DOUBLE the price. Weight is also nice, compared to the antique I had been lifting in and out of the car !!
Not sure yet, but the arms seem a little "floppy". Keeping an eye on them and making it a point to not use them as a pulling or pushing point. Believe if they extended through the mount they would be more stable !!

Wife had brain surgery, currently trying to get her back on her feet.
It suits our need beautifully.
The strengths include the appearance. It looks terrific with its shiny black metal and dull black seating and tires! Also, it's lightweight and durable
No weaknesses that I can tell. Very satisfied.
