My father-in-law, age 90, is the primary user for my mother-in-law; age 88. He's used a manual Hoyer lift for four years.
Making life a little easier
Low profile, can be used and run by one person
Heavier; a bit more challenging for mom to move it

Good, comfortable lifts, good machine
Motors both upper and lower sling ease-of-use lifting capability
Base could spread a bit further, arm could be a little bit longer, overall not a problem

Used this type of unit during hospital stay. Thought it worked well so we bought one. Motors are smooth, we have base motor too, worth it.
