A very good cushion with a couple of minor shortcomings.
I like the fact that it doesn't require a wedge and the cushion can be customized to fit any user's needs. I would recommend the additional gel pack rather than the standard factory gel. The cushion fits well in my chair and does not shift like my J2 occasionally does. With a tight sling seat, it sits perfectly. It's also easy to maintain and the contoured feature is a plus.
Like most JAY product the foam cushion will flatten in a relatively short amount of time. I would recommend any user to purchase the 4.25 cushion rather than the 3.75 cushion to counter this effect. Also, to provide additional support, purchase a solid seat insert. I use mine with Quickie chair and it works well for me. The gel will also need to be adjusted occasionally prior to seating.
