my daughter has cerebral palsy I was looking for ALOO3 Tilt n Tote since we lost her wheelchair on highway by Atlanta.
Good solution for manual lift for wheelchair
Easy to operate after the first 2 or 3 times.
Heavy for female to install. It is exposed to rain.

PHYSICAL DISABILITY
Loading/unloading did not work as described.
Strength and durability.
Could not load/unload wheelchair unless hold down arm was released. This involved unscrewing 4 allen wrench set screws. Very inconvenient and cumbersome.

Both my wife and my mother-in-law are wheelchair bound. To clear storage space in the rear compartment, I added the AL003 unit to the rear of the car
allows me to continue using manual chair

AL003 Tilt n Tote: Review
Being able to tilt down to just push up the wheelchair.
Haven't found any weakneses.

I like how easy it is to use and installing it was also very easy. I am 50 and fighting cancer on my spine, which has put me in a wheelchair.
Heavy-duty construction & high quality of workmanship
Very easy & convenient to use. The product exceeded my expectation with regard to its heavy duty, quality construction.
The angle of the Hold Down Arm when properly adjusted to allow loading of the chair on the tilted platform allows contact only at the very outside edge of the outboard armrest of the chair. This sometimes requires repositioning of the chair to secure it for travel.

a very goood product
ease of use
I don't like that the fastening slot moves about. I feel that it should be tacked in place.

My brother is 75 yrs. of age and has limited mobility. The tilt and tote has made transportation considerably eaiser both for him and my spouse.
AL003 Tilt n Tote: Review
Well made
At 82 I can not pull red handle with wheelchair on it until I push down on right side wheel plate. I have a Honda CRV and I have to remove the pin on the hitch to lower the carrier inorder to open the bottom half of the rear door. It is difficult for me to remove saftey clip and get the bolt out, which has a slight bind, and then try to get it aligned and replace the bolt. A pin with a tappered end and a saftey device that will fold in and can be fliped out to secure the bolt after the bolt is back in would be much better.

It is easier than putting the wheelchair in the trunk of the car.
It is a little more difficult to use than I thought it would be.
