portable and becuase it has the larger wheels available when out of the house, its easier for the user to have some control of where she wants to go when outside the house.
would be interesting to see if the wheel locks were (also) on the handles as its not alwyas possible for the user to lock and unlock the 'weak' side without help. Difficult to adjust the wheel lock strength.

The best of both worlds!
Both a transport chair and a wheel chair without compromising either. Light enough for me to lift in and out of my VW, especially if I take the big wheel off. Fold down back was a feature I hadn't anticipated, but really helps when moving it around. Took a few learning tries, but now the big wheels pop off as easily as the foot rests. We think it's great and are surprised none of his therapists knew about it. Found it almost by accident while shopping for a light weight chair, and almost didn't order it because it sounded too good to be true. We both love it!
Like most wheel chairs the sling seat can be a bit uncomfortabe for long "sits." We got the gel seat at the same time and would suggest any one considering this chair -- or any other one -- do the same.

I like this chair as it does everything we ask it to do and is light weight as I can lift it into the trunk of the car. I am 78 years young.
Poly-Fly: Review
This chair (without the large wheels) is lighter than my previous transport chair. Even though the chair folds, the back provides support and is comfortable for long periods of time. I don't need the seat cushion I used in my old chair.
When folded, the chair is not as compact as I would like. The large wheels must be removed to fit it in my car's trunk.

We are a small Motor cycle riding club that help people in our community in need. The wheel chair was bought for a lady who had an old heavy chair.
Awesome. Satisfied ever need we had.
Light weight, fold down back, and duel wheels. We even can fit into our little Smart car.
