Overall, this lift is a very good product.
Easy to use. Doesn't alter the vehicle (Toyota Sienna) in any way. Functions as described. Certainly a nice to carry the scooter inside the van, away from the elements.
Has a rattle when going over bumps.

Overweight male with compromised breathing, bad legs, bad lungs, 73 yrs old.
Easy to use and easy to install.
This is a very well engineered piece of equipment that was thought out for handicapped individuals that have some mobility and my wife loves it! Installation took about an hour and was simple. The long retractable control cord makes it easy to stand out of the way when loading or unloading, we simply hang the control over the scooter for easy access. I highly recommend the multi purpose battery to keep batteries charged up for the lift and scooter.
The only weakness is the rattle when on bumpy roads. I haven't had time to see where it comes from, but I think it will be an easy fix.

So far my BackPacker is GREAT ... I find it very easy to use and helpful for a person that's disabled ...
Just the greatest lift and saves my back too!
Well built, easy to use, fits our van, dependable.
Renders inside space not useable for groceries or other hauling.

My wife, in her early 70's, uses a scooter to get around outside the house. She enjoys getting out without worrying about me injuring myself.
It is easy, friendly for self and caregiver.

We didn't have to modify our van. And if we need to, we can reinstall it in another vehicle. It is very easy to use.
I wish it had a low battery indicator so you would know when the battery needs charging.

We use the lift to transport my husband's wheelchair. He is a 71 year old paraplegic. I am the caregiver and operator of the lift.
Excellent product needs one upgrade .
Easy to use except for the placement of the controls but is very well made.
The only weakness is the placement of the controls it is to far away from the front of the lift hard to reach or stowaway for someone with a disability.

The battery pack, it needs to be able to be plugged in without taking it out of its holder. I have a car that has a plug and a cigarette lighter plug--either one would work.
