Complicated to set up and first use
This is a great product for the money. It is stable and works well. I like the storage ability and easy to lift weight of this item. I have recommended this to many friends.
the instructions are vague and don't appear to be for this model. We had a terrible time getting the red part in its proper place. First use is a bit confusing but once you get the hang of it this becomes a simple to use item

I am 88 years old and very active in spite of spinal stenosis.I was having difficulty getting out of the tub from a sitting position.
great product
I got this to ease the stress on my shoulders after sustaining a rotator cuff injury. I makes getting in and out of the tub much easier. It's mostly going to be used when travelling, so wear and tear may not be an issue for me for years. The mechanism is ingenious and, so far, seems to be fairly rugged. It has eased my mind about re-injury to my shoulder so it has been well worth the money.
It's a bit heavy but my wife usually carries it and places it in the tub so that has not been too much of a problem. The mechanism takes a bit of use to become accustomed to, but once you become familiar with the operation, it's great. The seat cushions don't provide much cushion and probably won't last very long so I use a Jay cushion for real protection when sitting on the platform and transferring. When lifting it you need to make sure you have the seat fully down and the pieces locked together or you will risk a disastrous unexpected disassembly. Also, when you fully lower the seat bottom you must be careful to support the seat back or it will fall forward, risking damage to the power unit.

A REGULAR TUB WOULD GIVE MORE LEG ROOM, WE HAVE AN OVAL TUB AND LEG ROOM IS A LITTLE SHORT.

WIFE IS 82 YRS OF AGE. HAS HAD PARKINSONS FOR EIGHT YEARS AND HAS BEEN STABLE FOR 3 YEARS. NOW SHE CAN SOAK IN A JET TUB WHICH SHE HAS MISSED.
Very convenient to use
Ease of use, light weight and does not rely on water pressure to raise and lower.
None so far but I'm concerned about battery life.
